As the season starts to wind down, only a few more races remain for those wanting to try and reign victorious before the snow starts to fly. This weekend saw two more Bicknell Racing Products chassis head to victory lane. Neither one of them being strangers to the checkers either.

Erick Rudolph has had a season for the record books. Coming off back to back wins at the Thousand Islands RV Fall Nationals in Brockville last weekend and being crowned the BRP 358 Modified tour Champion earlier in the month, Rudolph added one more win to his impressive stats for the year. This time it was at the Dutch Hoag Memorial at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee NY. Rudolph dominated the 70 lap event to pick up the checkers and the $7000.00 pay out. Alan Johnson, in his BRP chassis, would come home 2nd. Billy Van Pelt and Matt Sheppard would pick up wins in their respective qualifying heat races earlier in the night. As Well, Sheppard would be the one going home with an extra $700.00 in his pocket after winning the 7 lap modified Dash for Cash.  In the Sportsman division Tommy Collins Jr. would go on to claim the checkered flag in his BRP chassis.

It was a great weekend to close out the racing season at Delmar as well. Jamie Mills captured the checkered this weekend in the Fall National Championship 50 lap Big Block Feature event. Craig Von Dohren would start in the pole position after winning his heat race earlier in the evening. Mills would be the one on the move early on though. After starting in the eighth spot, Mills would move into second by lap 20. His eyes were now on Von Dohren as he started to reel him in over the coming laps. On lap 22, Mills made a move to the outside of Von Dohren and quickly took over the lead. Mills to lead the remaining 38 laps and battle through a few messy restarts to claim the win. As if the night could not get any better for Mills, it was Eugene Mills’ (Jamie’s Father) birthday. No father could ask for a better birthday present than to see their son claim the win. Jordan Watson, in his BRP chassis, would bring home 2nd.

Craig Vondohren and Eric Korman would pick up the win in their respective feature events at Delaware. VonDohren, after battling his way through a few tough restarts, would dominate to pick up the win on Friday night  during the 358 small block 50 lap feature. Korman, After picking up the heat win on Friday night, would race side by side for the lead throughout the 25 lap feature event and survive 7 cautions would go on to claim victory in the Ac Delco PCS Modifieds.

Congratulations to Erick Rudolph, Jamie Mills, Eric Korman, Craig VonDohren and Tommy Collins Jr. on their impressive showings this past weekend. Our oustanding customers continue to prove why Bicknell Racing Products is #1.
