With rain falling in biblical measures all over the northeast this week, mother nature has forced many tracks to cancel this weekend’s racing events. At Bicknell Racing Products it has been nothing but sunshine and blue sky. The guys and girls are elated to have their season off to a great start.

“Billy Decker winning last weekend marked our 50th win of 2017” said Randy Williamson, part of the ownership team at Bicknell Racing Products. “We could not be happier for all of our customers and it definitely gets us on track to break our win record from last year”.
Decker battled his way through lap traffic last Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway to claim victory in the Highbanks Hold up 100 for the third straight time. Decker would hold off Matt Sheppard in the last few laps of the race but had to fight his way around Brett Hearn and Jimmy Phelps. After a few laps of back and forth passing, on lap 45 Decker was able to secure the lead from Hearn with Sheppard sitting in third. Lap 55 Sheppard got around Hearn for second and the chase was on for the lead. Sheppard was able to put pressure on Decker in the last laps of the race but it was not enough. The Franklin Flyer was the car to beat.
Bicknell Racing products would also like to congratulate Scott Cannon, who claimed the Victoria State Title in Australia in early April, claiming Bicknell Racing Products 10th win of the 2017 season. A strong performance from Scott, along with some great prep from his team allowed for the 79 to return to victory lane, some 16 years after winning the Australian title. “It was a major relief to finally win” said the 42 year old from New South Wales. Cannon took the top spot from last year’s title winner Kevin Britten, who would surrender the lead to Cannon in later stages of the race due to a flat tire.
"It was great to see Scott (Cannon) grab the title too", said Williamson. "It proves that no matter where you go, Bicknell is the one to beat".
Congratulations to last week’s recorded feature winners.
